Tree People

These tree people were a fun little diversion to work on. I did a quick sculpt, ensuring the separate body parts could be used alone or fitted into one another in different ways, showing raw wood where a missing arm, head, etc might be. A quick rig in Maya allowed me to create different variants of the body parts which I then compiled into dynamic poses. When it came to texturing- minimizing seams and crashing as well as repetitiveness was my priority.
